What is The Growing Together @ Byers Annual Fund?
The Growing Together @ Byers Annual Fund (GT@B) is a yearlong campaign that funds our annual discretionary budget, allowing us to provide excellent and necessary programming for students outside the classroom. Each year Byers Science and Tech Parents (STP) work with our staff to support this annual giving campaign. Our ask is simple: we’d like every member of our Byers community to contribute what they can, be it $1 or $1000, to ensure these essential enrichment programs remain available for our students. These extracurriculars support students as they prepare for college and explore their identities personally, socially, and academically.
Our goal is to raise $125,000 for our 2022-23 annual campaign. Your contribution is essential to help our community thrive, giving students opportunities that they otherwise would not have to make connections with each other and find out what they are passionate about!
What Does The Growing Together @ Byers Annual Fund Support?
Contributions to GT@B helps fund Byers’ extracurricular clubs, athletics, student government, school spirit activities, school wide community building events, teacher retention initiatives, college success programs and much more!
*A small portion of funds raised are allocated to the DSST network, supporting their mission to end educational inequity by providing some resources to other DSST schools, and also offsetting some of the fundraising expenses.
